I'm 45, have two daughters that are 14 and 12 and I (we) recently found out that my chick is pregnant. We went through extraordinary (reversals and such) measures and we (she) are pregnant. We know it's a girl and she is due in April. At this point in my life I didn't know if it would happen or not or if I was ready again but I couldn't be happier. I love kids and love being a dad and am excited as hell to have a baby to love and cherish each and every day.

Please join me in hoisting a drink in celebration...salute...

congrats! i'm a lot younger than my brothers (14 & 16 years) it's kinda cool. you're like an only child, but you're not. so you get the best of both worlds kinda.

Congratulations!! How are your older daughters taking the news, I imagine they must be thrilled. Are they psyched to babysit? I faintly remember wishing my mom would have another baby when I was a young teen...
