Hey people, I'm trying to gauge if you guys dig my cartoons of your favorite 202 personalities or if I should just put down the pencil. My chick and family tell me the love it...but thats cause they have to. I know I'll get bitter, bold, honesty from this community, so please let me have it.

Just know that these were NOT scanned, they are just pictures from my webcam, but ultimately I'm trying to figure out if I should spend the money on a tablet and scanner. So please dont judge the quality of the picture.

Don't put down the pencil. I like them. Thanks man, I have a bunch in my book that need to be scanned including a Popcorn Ronnie, Dave pouring hot sauce on his head, The cast of interns (Pitz, Lily, Bronx Johnnie, and Shelle), Jim Norton and more...I just have to stop coloring them with color pencils.

They're good, keep drawing! I haven't drawn in so long you might just inspire me. But keep posting them. I took AP art in high school and we had to critique each others work so I'll be honest with you!

That's true, mexi.

Leaning depth and size proportioning is and has always been a problem for some artists.

Perfect examples here: Rob Leifeld's Biggest Mistakes (http://progressiveboink.com/archive/robliefeld.html)

fixed link.

Sam's arm looks a little big.Yeah,, I'm aware that Sams hands and arms are a bit big. It's something I would have fixed with photoshop but I just dont have the program yet.

I'm also aware of Rob Liefield's problems with size and feet. Its something I need to work on. Thanks for the feedback. It will only make me better.

They are better than I could do, but I'm not really impressed. They seem so generic.

I don't want to come across like a hater or anything, that's just what I think.

When I saw Sam's big arms, I thought it was intentional...an exaggeration.
Nice job regardless.

Do most published cartoonists use computer editing for their artwork?

on second thought....you probably wanna go with a program like inkscape which is a free alternative to adobe illustrator. I tried it last night and had a ball!
