No, two seperate films were made at the same time. One is about the Cuban Revolution itself and Che's involvement and the other is about Che's actions after the revolution until his death. The films compliment each other, but both were made to stand alone as individual films.
Fuck how it's "going to fly." Most American moviegoers are morons who get bored if there isn't a talking animal in the first ten minutes. Like anyone should give a shit about what they think.

It was pretty much the only choice though because otherwise it's a 6 hour film. Very few would sit through that marathon
