Guinea tees are the most useless undergarment ever. You're still getting pit sweat on the shirt so what's the point? It's like crotchless panties for chicks...they're only good asthetically, but serve no real purpose.

Meanwhile, you sit there without any panties on. Animal.

I wear undershirts under dress shirts and sweatshirts. I don't wear it on polo shirts, or under my t-shirts. That pretty much covers whatever I wear.

As for the type of shirt, it's usually a gray undershirt under my dress shirts. I find that usually you can't see gray shirts through white dress shirts, but you can see the white ones.

And I have never, ever worn a wife beater.

Undershirt 100% of the time - under t-shirts - under dress shirts - under a polo - under a t-shirt with a sweater over top. Always. Always a crew neck as well.

First - the fabric never matters on a shirt again - it always feels comfortable - second if you sweat it guards you against stains. Finally - at the end of a long day nothing feels better than taking off that overshirt and just relaxing in your undershirt. If I was a rich man I would open a new package of undershirts every day it is like sleeping on just cleaned sheets.

For those who complain about double laundry - don't you wash a load of whites? If it is just socks it is not like adding in some t-shirts puts the white wash load over the top - unless you are rockin tighty whiteys... and that is a whole other problem.

I usually wear one; most days I wear a dress shirt to work, and I always wear one with those. I don't wear one with turtlenecks, that just feels weird. I wear turtlenecks once or twice a week this time of year. if I am meeting with clients or just working in the office, yes I wear an undershirt under dress shirts. If I am going to be on a construction site in the heat of summer, I usually wear one under a more casual shirt as that absorbs sweat and keeps me cool.
so the answer is yes, undershirts about 90% or more of the time.

women need to address this too. just wearing a bra does not protect you from pit stains either. too few women, in my experience, wear anything but a bra as underwear for their upper half.

I only wear them at work. Any other time I just wear T-shirts so anything under that would just be silly.

I don't think I even own any shirts with buttons.

A guy wearing an undershirt under any shirt is a huge plus in my book.
A guy not wearing an undershirt with a dress shirt is a huge turn off.

Seriously? i cant stand a man who doesnt wear undershirts underneath their shirt. I dont know why. Im really trying to understand this.

Ladies, does this annoy you as much as it annoys me?

Discuss...

When I dress up an undershirt is a must. If it is cold, sometimes I will. Otherwise hell no. Oh, I do not leave sweat marks, even in this heat.

Sometimes do, sometimes not. Depends on the weather and what I'm wearing. If it's hot out? Regular t-shirt and nothing underneath. If it's slightly chilly, maybe a wife-beater. If it's cold, yeah I'll wear something. Dress shirt, I always wear an undershirt.

However, Affliction shirts will never touch an undershirt :)

Under a dress shirt? Of course.

Under other shirts, sweaters, etc., I'll wear a t-shirt during the colder weather.
