Its been 28 years since John Lennon was reincarnated. For me he is the most influential person in my life that I never met. I've read the biographies, listened to the music, and heard the interviews. The first song I ever learned on the guitar, and my favorite song ever is ,"Across the Universe". Even "Plastic Ono Band" syncs with me. 28 years, his legacy is great. Anyone have any fond John memories?

I still Blame Yoko.

I blame Linda McCartney for breaking up the Beatles.

I think the greatest crime was the manner in which the American populus treated Yoko. Here is a man who is famous for the Beatles music and their love songs. Artist then falls in love and they hated him for it.

Linda and Mrs Harrison did a tag team number on yoko. Was not right.

And then Clapton stole Mrs. Harrison.

I spent a decade working in that bldg. and everyday tourists would get there picture taken where he was shot. On this day and on Lennon's bday Yoko would get a ton of flowers sent to her, I don't think she accepted them.

Nah, it's pretty obvious from all the various testimonies of when Yoko showed up of how conciously and actively she want out of her way to fuck with and insert herself into the band's dynamic, and John just rolled over and did nothing otherwise. Granted, she didn't just magically break up the band all on her own; there were building tensions for a while, but she was a huge breaking point that very willingly acted like a big turd just to get attention for herself and to fuck with the rest of the group.

Linda didn't really do anything, but Paul very stubbornly wanted her dad to take care of the band's business when the ther 3 all wanted the Stones' business manager, and that was a big breaking point.
