An F-18 fighter jet has crashed in a residential neighborhood in San Diego. At least one house is up in flames, but it's believed the pilot was able to parachute to safety before the crash.

No word on civilian casualties yet.

Apparently two civilians were killed when the plane flew into their home. A mother, grandmother, and two children were in the house and it's not yet known which were killed.
