OH I'm not saying no one should be mad at him or talk about it. Just in the great scheme of things Opie and Anthony's opinions on music have always sucked balls. Ant seems to fancy himself a musician of sorts because he sang in his brother's band and can do song parodies, and Opie thinks years as a radio jock gave him some sort of musical insight.

They're both just 2 guys who seem to like shitty music. I remember them talking about how GREAT Yes was one show. Blech.

Obviously I'm a nut for the show, and for 202 as a whole. I've been listening since '05 and this is the first time I've felt compelled to rant like a nutcase about it. I'm just pissed because I took a break from the show after the Obama stuff went over the top and last week I tune back in only to be subjected to more retardo or racist right wing rants. I was really hoping it was a phase. And if I didn't care about the show I wouldn't bother writing this stuff, I'd just stop listening altogether.

I think it's Anthony's right to say and think whatever the fuck he wants. Lately though, I wish he'd put the entertainment value of the show first.

Forgive this being my first post, but I am an admitted long time lurker. I understand the fury directed at Ant, but if you have listened to OandA over the years (as I have) they bash everything. They always throw people under the bus, and it is in the vain of humor. Jimmy always say all bets are off when it comes to comedy. I enjoy the song, very much, but I also enjoy their humor. I've liked just about everything Sleeves has done since "It takes a Rube". To me his songs are better when they don't have show drops in them, but even those are pretty damn good.
