I recently picked up my new car;

as it was a Mazda ( my american fleet co only had GM among Nafta picks...local GOA dealers are Sopranos wannabes )-i was ok w/the SIRIUS radio as Ron and Fez had been promoting SIRIUS ~197 as another noon-3 broadcast.

For me at least=, nogo;

the RF station may be a premium channel?...if so, why isn't this in the promo? Luv Ron; but isn't an upper east-side home enough?

There are some models of Sirius receivers that can't pick up the "Best of XM (http://www.sirius.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=Sirius/CachedPage&c=FlexContent&cid=1222356064275)" package so you are lucky there.

Some few people can't get it on their radios.

Well, when you think about it, the "Best of Sirius" and "Best of XM" packages were a backdoor way to get a price increase. They promised the FCC no rate increases for 3 years (I think), and so they can't raise the base $12.95/mo charge -- but they can come up with a "premium package" that requires you to pay $4/mo more for all the channels your receiver can get, which has always been part of the service.

Plus, who'd have a problem with Mr. B getting more money anyway? He deserves it more than you do.
