As a kid, I was always allowed to stay up, but my babysitting Grandmother forced us to watch "Guy Lombardo" from the Waldorf...ugh!
As for partying, the 80's were a blur. One year at a party I was a bit drunk and fell and crushed a friend's Christmas tree..oops.;)

Umm let's see. This year'll suck. I'm working on the 31st, and flying out the 1st. The last three years I worked both the 31st and the 1st.
Although I was able to get some parting in for 2000 after work.

before 98 I had some good times!

That's easy.
1998- I didn't take my usual vacation trip, b/c my dad had died the month before and I was in no mood. So I wound up at this party in the City with people I mostly didn't know, and then got involved in the middle of a brawl to protect my cousin.
Yuck. Let's not do that again.

my worst new years eve was this new years I took some bad shrroms had to break up a fight with two of my friends and I ended up with a black eye and a chipped tooth, but at least the twilight zone and honeymooner marathons were on

Real easy most of you heard this by now but I'll put it out there...

This last one was the worst probably imaginable. I couldn't attend Jeff's bash cuz I promised my good lady friend in advance, that I would help her out eventhough it literally was the death of me. At the same party was my ex and my ex bestfriend (mutual friends of her as well), I think you get the picture... well figure new years eve, everyone is dancing and macking while I was having a pretty decent time until it was the countdown... they locklips at the strike of 12.... I saw her glance at me and I couldn't take it... could that get any worse guys?!?

mine was new years eve '99. i was at a friend's party and it was all my good friends from college and my exboyfriend, who was friends with them too by that point. my friend and i thouht it'd be fun to re-live old times and show a couple of our guy friends our boobies. needless to say, everyone was all kinds of fucked up. we went into the bathroom and after it happened, my ex walked in and i told him the truth. we got into the hugest fight and put a damper on things. and that was the beginning of the end of that relationship

mine was in like 96 probably. i was at a small party at a friend's house with my boyfriend at the time. everyone was drinking and doing a lot of other shit that night. my boyfriend completely freaked out. i spent about an hour and a half with him in the hallway (including missing the ball drop) - me sitting on the floor and him laying with his head in my lap, clinging to me, and crying hysterically. the most fun part of the evening was the 20 minutes or so where he was rocking back and forth, repeating "my soul just died" over and over. happy new year to me
