If you listened to Ron & Fez's Thanksgiving Show, you know that our own moochcassidy and IamPixie were recently married. Since we never got the opportunity to give them a proper shower, we're having a wedding celebration/bar night at the Crowe's Nest in New York City on Saturday, January 17th starting at 9:00 pm.

$3 drafts
$4 beer bottles + a bottle special to be announced

yeah, the director of Lives of Others said that he wanted to make the movie partly in response to movies like Good-bye, Lenin! He thought the East German nostalgia was glossing over the negative parts.
I am curious to see what you think about Lives of Others. we went to the Stasi Museum when we were in Beijing and Lives of Others set design and equipment seemed authentic. I get the feeling the director did his homework.
Christiane F seemed to have no other purpose than to scare teenagers. Great soundtrack and concert scenes with bowie but I got a bit tired of horrible junkie scenes in a downward spiral. I get it - teenagers shouldn't shoot heroin.
