They are rechargeable batteries. The thing is, is that they recharge from and USB port.

These things are AWESOME. I have a usb port on my tv, dvd player, and even usb ports on my usb ports. !!!

they have them in different sizes as well. Awesome. I have not read the FAQ though to see if they will work with USB adapters.

Pretty cool concept, but $17.49 for two... sounds a little pricey. I got 4 regular rechargable AA's for $11 the other week.

They are pretty cool, but I wouldn't use them as my primary source of power for electronics like digital cameras and Mp3 players, because the battery lasts about 1/2 as much as conventional rechargeable batteries that recharge in battery stations.

But would I get a couple to keep in my camera bag for the ever present "just in case" scenario? Absolutely.

And more then likely, if these things sell at a good pace, the company will put some money into R & D to make an better model.
