Is that's time of year. Every bad magazine and newspaper is compiling its "Best of" 2008 lists. My favorite local radio station here in Milwaukee (http://www.radiomilwaukee.org/home.asp) is asking its listeners a simple question: "What are you 5 favorite songs of 2008?"

I really liked all the old bands coming out with new stuff this year. Dunno, just something about it gets to the inner fanboy in you. Here's mine:

AC/DC - Rock and roll train (just sounds like it could have been in the 80s)

Buckcherry - Rescue Me (liked it a lot)

Guns and Roses - Shackler Revenge (new Guns and Roses, seriously. just awesome.)

Metallica - day that never comes (I love Metallica and this song was good. New Metallica = better than 90% of the awful studio bands today)

Weezer - Pork and beans (catchy, easy to remember, fun video, and........... well fuck it this is my list)
