when we had our 3rd she asked me to get snipped and i politely explained that that wasn't fair, because my next wife might want kids. turned out though the third was an emergency c-section, so before they knocked her out they said they could tie her tubes while they had her open, she agreed and that was that. they had her opened up on the table, the baby was out and was fine, they thought his heart was fucked up but it wasn't.... they told us he had a 20% chance of living before the c-section, but turned out 100% fine once out....., so anyhow, since he was fine when he came out everyone was all chill and smiley, and there was easily a dozen or so extra hands in the room because they were prepped for the worst, and the doctor, i guess realizing i had just stood through the weirdest up and down ever, asked me if i'd like to see what he was doing up close....., i guess my standing there staring at him elbow deep in her open gut caught his eye, so i go over and he shows me what everything is from the inside. It was cool, so i did what anyone would do, I poked her uterus with my finger, then he let me put in a couple stitches, and then he got her tubes up on the end of his lil metal wand thingy and asked if i wanted them tied or cut, i said cut and he handed me the scissors and i snipped them both.

i retrospect, i'm glad, i like my balls like i like my action figures..... in mint original condition

I am not 100% sure that it does not kind of fuck with your internal workings and remaining tubes etc down there though as I have had a couple issues over the last years. That's exactly what my wife and I decided on when she was pregnant with Theresa. She delivered naturally, so off to the urologist I went.

9 years later, I can say it was the best thing we did. She used to be on the pill, but if she forgot to take one, she'd get pregnant with just a dirty look from me. We wound up losing two to spontaneous abortions. I'm lucky to have the two boys and my daughter, but the health risks to my wife during pregnancy were too great to keep going using birth control.

Sterilization is only acceptable when it is medically neccessary. As in a woman having a hysterectomy for a valid medical reason. The church also states that birth control (any type) is inherently evil and is a mortal sin. Sometimes women are allowed to use birth control pills for medical reasons but if there isnt a valid reason it is considered a mortal sin. The church encourages and allows Natural Family Planning ( where a woman monitors her body temp and ovulation cycles to avoid pregnancy - it can be used effectively to prevent pregnancy when the situation requires it.)
