I think about The Hollywood Blonds and the West Hollywood Blonds and how great they were in the ring on on the mic. both teams didnt get a fair shake to go the distance.

You may laugh but I think if they hadn't been killed dead by DX, the Spirit Squad had some underrealized potential.

There was an episode where they were using trampolines outside the ring and I always felt like they could've really done something exciting with that if they kept it going. It would look weak if wrestlers used tramps for moves but in this case it would totally make sense.

And really what did they gain by killing them like that? The only one who has since amounted to anything is Dolph Ziggler and that's pretty amazing when you consider the work that Ken Doane and Johnny Jeter turned in in OVW.

Also the Spirit Squad were a great stable to watch. Whoever said them incorporating trampolines in their matches was right. It was a cool way to pull out new moves, and also pull new double team moves too.

There was another gimmick that died real quick and I am not even sure where they were going with it.... but at one time when Hennan was managing he was wearing a head set and he basically said he was get info from another person who was stationed somewhere in the arena and they saw things from an eagle eye and told him things he may be missing. This lasted 3 weeks and then they stopped it. I always wondered who the heck was it going to be helping him.

He actually had the gimmick in TNA, then WWE took him and it intact with their own input, of course. they had a few cool promos, giving the impression he was going higher places.

the only higher places he end up was jumping off turnbuckles as jimmy wang yang's 2nd wheel jobber tag partner. then came the "wish him well in future endeavours".

TNA's Suicide is Frankie Kazarian aka Kaz. He's a hell of a worker and has always been a better than average promo guy. Give him a little more time.

Glacier was a great gimmick, but a bad wrestler to stick it on. The wrestler that was Glacier lived up to his name: he moved too damn slow. If they were do the gimmick today, they would have to use someone with legit speed and martial arts skills (think Steve Blackman's martial arts with Kofi Kingston's speed, high flying and charisma).

i miss vampiro he was bad ass before all the ICP garbage in the old wcw. also was a huge fan of the scaffold matches. im guessing there's insurance reasons they cant have a match 40 feet above the ring where the loser gets tossed off to the floor first anymore. but if you check out any online videos of scaffold matches where guys are hanging kicking each other from the scaffold is great. i remember one of the Midnight Express vs the Fabulous Freebirds where they kicked and kicked each other for what felt like hours. finally they all fell down to the ring and rolled around. knowing wrestling's fake, its insane to think how they pulled that off.
