I'm dissapointed

Disappointed. And I mispelled the thread title - that's the real disappointment now.

So - life's been interesting for me. I may have had to climb the 'ol 12 steps 8 or so years ago and there were plenty of alienated individuals along the way. Good guys that I haven't seen in years and there was some animosity there.

So my wife decides for my 35th b-day (coming up on the 28th... I'm a big fan of velour)... to scan my facebook and find these guys as I've been having discussions with her about how I'm back in touch with them. She presents me with a few boxes of ammo, a sweet shooting vest and a cleaning kit last night and says to go get cigars for everyone and how they're all meeting me shoot trap today.

And now it's treacherous out there. Treachery. Arthur Treacher. That restaurant always comes to mind when something is treacherous. In his defense - I don't think he was ever guilty of treacherousness. Or treachery. Mediocre fish sticks.

So I called it off and I'm drinking coffee and playing with the bear, who seems 100% today, and watching History channel about the Red Mafia. These guys are a hoot!

I'm dissapointed, but I'm also having a nice relaxing day.

I got some bang -up cigars for this day too. All mine now.

So there are some positives.

well - no, they were avoiding me all that time.

But - I mentioned we should all get together in January instead.

I just don't like the odds of those cigars staying fresh that long.

That's a conundrum I'll have to figure out.
