Not the issue; of course Dave works for Fez.

Dave is getting Fez lunch because Fez can't make sure to get himself fed before the show to make sure that his blood sugar is at the right levels and he can mentally function. Nor will Fez say "I want this" on a daily basis so Dave has to come up with something he thinks Fez will like. Since Fez isn't taking any responsibility for it, he has no right to complain.
