My Roof is Leaking

It started yesterday. We have a lot of snow, and someone's porch is above my living room--where the ceiling is leaking. I've called the HOA but the contractor is sick. I'm ready to go shovel snow off my neighbors porch. She wasn't there last time I tried. Water is dripping from my ceiling fan and from a big bubble that has formed.

Ya, you better get rid of the source of water for starters. Next I would think is to drain the bubble before it brings down the ceiling. I'm sure that area is ruined but its better to deal with it on your terms then let it crumble when it feels like it.:down:

I'm pretty sure someone is coming to work on it tomorrow. But I don't know if it can wait.

I just got home so this might be too late. If you start working near the ceiling make sure you turn off any power going to the fan.

Thanks Tom. I did see some ice in one of the gutters, so that maybe the start of it right there. I should be able to find out tomorrow what's going on. Nice poem Moe.

The contractor finally made his way over, he's pretty busy. Ice damming is exactly what happened. You called it.
