I heard that KROCK is going to go more local. I heard in a press release that OnA are too much national and they should be more local. Apparently, the listeners have said they don't like hearing calls from anything west of Jersey, north of White Plains, east of Islip and south of Staten Island. So, to correct this problem, they will franchise the name opie and anthony out so smaller markets can have a more local opie and anthony show. Much like Krusty started a clown college.

Why is it jealousy or pettiness to not like what O&A are doing at this point? There are A LOT of people that think the show has fallen off, so it's not some kind of surprising revelation.

And sometimes people are going to use things like the dwindling number of syndicated stations to back up their argument - regardless of the exact reasons why they were pulled, the fact is that O&A have been pulled from the grand majority of stations. That just doesn't look good.

Well I guess I have to explain why putting all the eggs in one basket is wrong with SiriusXM. :innocent:So far the Sirius XM merger has not produced any positive results for the show(s): lawyer interference, censorships, moving to a smaller studio without a live audience, bosses pushing the show to stay on when there is no more funny, affecting the Saturday Night Virus Shows by pre-empting them, letting-go of Roland, and no more E-Lo. :thumbdown:Sirius XM has a stock price of 11 to 12 cents which is under the dollar price requested by the NYSE for listing. :thumbdown:The car companies that produce XM & Sirius radios are experiencing a huge decrease in sales which affects SiriusXM's profit. :thumbdown:iPods, Zunes, and other MP3 players are much more popular. :sad:The only national spots that have Sirius & XM radios are for new cars. :blink: SiriusXM is in a hole with no idea on how to get out of it besides car sales and care sales are way way down. :wallbash: Being on K-Rock & WROX gives the boys more choices and eventually the economy will recover and so will terrestrial radio. :thumbup:

I sincerely doubt that if you are not enjoying the shows when they return from vacation, that anything will change your minds in the foreseeable future. :tongue: I read some people in this thread suffering from Blowhard-ish nostalgia, a huge beatnik attitude and this silly idea that if you are not enjoying something because it is changing ever increasingly under circumstances outside of their control, you are somehow better by continually listening to it anyways. :wacko: And a couple people who play shock posters to only gain attention for their needy selves. Maybe it is time for those people who have become overwhelmed or comfortably numb to take a break from listening or possibly to move on to other shows that are more entertaining, eh?
