Weird Locals

Here in Morristown, we have the Mud Lady. She's an otherwise attractive homeless woman who puts shoe polish on her skin and in her hair, so she looks like she's covered in mud. Don't know why, but it intrigues me. I sometimes follow her around to see what she does all day.

Overnights where i work ,there is a coworker...who looks like Bowser from Sha-na-na..except he is missin a tooth..and hes a drunk. All night i make fun of him. He is such a liar and storyteller.

Some of his lies are----

-He owns a house in the Hamptons and has 2 great danes
-He was an interpreter and liason during the Vietnam war
-He killed a cop
-His daughter posed for Playboy
-He had cameo in a John Wayne war movie..and hung out with him

The mud lady - she's still around? I remember seeing her in Morristown about 5 or so years ago. Very strange lady. I would be a little scared following her around. I could just imagine what she does all day.

The Mud Lady's schedule:

7:30am: walk from the Mission to the train station
7:45am-9am: wait for the train with the other "commuters", but don't get on when it comes
9am: walk from train station to Starbucks; steal $1.50 from the tip jar
9am-noon: walk around the Green about a thousand times
12pm: walk to the liquor store; steal a Coke
12pm-5pm: go back into the mission, probably to drink Coke
5pm: get free food from the mission on the Green
after 5pm: don't know; she caught me watching her and I ran away like a girl

HOLY SH*T Nickeye!!! I went to school at Delbarton and I can remember seeing the Mud Lady about 100 times during my 4 years there. She is a legend. We have this one guy in our town called Jerkoff Joe. I think he's a petophile or something. Anyway, he wears huge winter jackets in the summertime, with a set of earmuffs. He's a real strange dude.

My towns Got minnies there a bunch of stinky smeally Ren neck / hip hop weird ghetto they have been called black albinos i dont know why thouhg but if you go to Upper ringwood AKA minnieville its scary cause you can go anythign of the day and there out hannging on there poarchs and at night all u see is eyes Teeth and the little reb burning of a cigeret or what not

oh and in a town over in POMTOM theres this guy who is called reggete hes a cross dresser and he roams the streets people you to give him crap but now hes excepted i have a pictuer of him if any wish to see

The black albinos sound like a group of people that live around West Milford, NJ, called the Jackson-Whites. They're a family that's been around since Civil War times; they're white-skinned, but have African features. It's a large family, but they live in the sticks and tend to keep to themselves.

Also in Morristown, we have a guy that apparently thinks he has a large "posse" around him all all times, even though he's alone. He's always laughing and yelling at his imaginary friends. I call him "Exodor", after the Mork & Mindy character...

Any one who live near port jeff on LI should know Howie. I wouldn't say he was weird, but he was a great guy.

All he did was be friendly with anyone who stepped out of the local stop and shop.

He was a great guy. I think he stayed at an adult home or something. One year he was even grand marshal for my homecoming parade for my HS!

Unfortunately he died around this time last year by a heart attack. There was a big headline in Newsday about it.

Haha wow...my block is pretty full of weird people! I wanna move so bad, anyone have a room for me! I could write a book on all the stuff I've seen go on w/ my neighbors! My neigbor that lives across the street spies on us! And the lady that lives 2 houses away from me Major Wacko! When she takes her garbage out, she puts plastic bags on her feet! Her son is like 23 i think, we never see him out. I saw hime once 2 years ago when it was really dark out..he was in the back of the car and you couldnt even see his face!

But if your thinking more like homeless..here in Baldwin Long Island we have Eddie..he is really sweet. He used to have a dog but it got hit by a car :( And he saw me and my friend drinking and smoking and he talked to us for a good 45 minutes why we shouldnt be doing it. He made me cry..cause i felt so bad. But we bought him lunch!
And a couple towns over there is a lady that directs traffic, cause she saw her husband and son get hit by cars. But I havent seen her in awhile. Hope she is ok

They have a magazine called Weird NJ that has all types of stuff like that (town weirdos/legends/oddities) and a website weirdnj.com. If they don't your story, you can submit it. I spent 3 hours checking out the stories, and you find out how many of them you've heard before or how similar one town's legend is to your town's.

OMG what a great topic. We have many wierdo's here in the Greenwich/Stamford area.

The Tick- This guy who only goes into one McDonald's in town, never orders anything, but is alwasy there and just flips out and starts "ticking" and screaming obscenities kind of like tourettes, but I dont think he has it. He's very disheveled looking and has white crazy hair (think Einstein) and these thick black rimmed glasses, no matter what the temperature he wears a big 70's looking tan puffy coat. He drives around in a stationwagon full of garbage.

The Bag Lady- Used to walk around all over town with a shopping cart full of brown paper bags in which she collected food, empty cans and empty bottles and a special bag for little trinkets & treasures. Apparetnly she was a very rich woman, but everyone thought she killed her hubby for the money so she went homeless to prove a point. I think she died last year. R.I.P. bag lady.

Gross/Fat/Smelly/Jerkoff/Stealing Guy- When i worked at Starbucks the first time around there was this fat smelly guy that always came in there and just sat in the store the entire day. He would steal pockets full of straws, sugars, honeys and other condiments. THEN he would go in the bathroom for about 1/2 an hour at a time and come out and look all skeevy. He looked like he never showered. One day the manager came up to me and told me to go clean the bathroom after Fat/Smelly guy came out and i went in and there was JIZZ ON THE MIRROR. I told my manager I wouldn't clean it and he said he'd write me up so I quit, I found out later that the same guy (fat/smelly) had gotten banned from three other shops in the stripmall because of whacking off in various places (he used to take the porno's out of tower and bring them to the bathroom)

Mud Lady Spy Report: her name's Christine. I was spying on her in the Starbucks today, and one of the other crazies said, "Hi, Christine."

There are a few legends about why she wears the shoe polish. One is that she was married to a rich guy who left her for a black woman, so she went crazy and started painting herself black.

some more info on thegamehhh's "jerkoff joe"...i recently found out, much to my dissapointment, that his real name is not joe, but paul and he lives somewhere in town with thegame and cov and i....anyway, the first time i saw him he was full out humping the large cement pillar in front of a convience store, thats where i usually find him...begging for change and mumbling and pulling his wang out all the time...the story goes that he was found passed out by the train tracks with a small dog stuck to his member, under his coat a while back, but i have yet to confirm that...hes no mudlady, but he's fun to watch
