Here are some of mine:
-lose weight (it's a cliche for a reason)
-finish designing and then actually building the addition to my house
what are yours?

I'm sure more then a handful of you will get this
I'm such a nerd for doing this:
Fitter, happier, more productive,
comfortable,
not drinking too much,
regular exercise at the gym
(3 days a week),
getting on better with your associate employee contemporaries ,
at ease,
eating well
(no more microwave dinners and saturated fats),
a patient better driver,
a safer car
(baby smiling in back seat),
sleeping well
(no bad dreams),
no paranoia,
careful to all animals
(never washing spiders down the plughole),
keep in contact with old friends
(enjoy a drink now and then),
will frequently check credit at
(moral) bank (hole in the wall),
favors for favors,
fond but not in love,
charity standing orders,
on Sundays ring road supermarket
(no killing moths or putting boiling water on the ants),
car wash
(also on Sundays),
no longer afraid of the dark or midday shadows
nothing so ridiculously teenage and desperate,
nothing so childish - at a better pace,
slower and more calculated,
no chance of escape,
now self-employed,
concerned (but powerless),
an empowered and informed member of society
(pragmatism not idealism),
will not cry in public,
less chance of illness,
tires that grip in the wet
(shot of baby strapped in back seat),
a good memory,
still cries at a good film,
still kisses with saliva,
no longer empty and frantic
like a cat
tied to a stick,
that's driven into
frozen winter shit
(the ability to laugh at weakness),
calm,
fitter,
healthier and more productive
a pig
in a cage
on antibiotics.

see, *that's* helpful.
I have been trying to get into radiohead, but I just can't. they really are an acquired taste, and I just haven't been able to acquire it. maybe I'll add that to my 2009 resolutions: get into radiohead.

Pipe smoking is kind of a bitch, but it smells fucking great.
Its the packing and continued lighting of the tobacco that blows.

well it's looking like I'm going to fall short of my resolution of getting 1000 posts by the end of this year. I am actually working today (half day) and have things to do for the rest of the day. I hope this is not a sign of things to come for next year....

I'm going to stop putting my shoes up on the couch and leaving shit stains on the toilet.
I'm going to drink less cheap beer.
I'm going to do some art work.
I'm going to hold hands and dance with Gvac.
I'm going to send Hottub a five dollar bill in the mail.
I'm going to take a walk everyday when possible.
I'm going to tell the next stranger I sit at a bar and talk with that I am a Surgeon.
I'm going to figure out how to make a Sig Pic.

My big resolution is to lose weight. I know it's hack, but it has to be done. Before the holidays I was already off to a good start, then fell off the wagon.
There are others, but I won't bore you.
