First of all, this is a fascinating question from someone with 45 posts since 2002.
Secondly, If the board itself didn't dissolve I would stick around. I get a lot of my news and daily entertainment out of the site, it's probably the site I visit during the day like 90% to 10% of the rest of the fucking internet, plus we will always have years of backlogged shows to discuss and remember. I don't know, this site rules. Good question though.

Some of the moderators here are social losers, and never see the sun. They act like hall monitors, and get a feeling of power, over a messageboard!!! I see people having fun, and mods like Jacuzzi take everything so damn serious! Let the fun happen, and get out and see a dentist!:thumbup:

No no no, don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking you, it's more of a personal observation thing. I always love seeing posters from '01 and '02, even '03 who have really low post counts, cause I find it fascinating why they would show up to post in the thread that they do. And to start a new thread is even more interesting.

2nd. I take things too seriously? You've got to be kidding. I come here purely for the fun. Sure I can get a bad rap for merging this or doing that, but the fact is, I am currently the most active mod. If shit goes down, yeah it may have been me to keep the peace. I have also been called out for being a Nazi when I wasn't even logged on. Whatever. It's part of the job.

i still have those shows archived, and i've been listening to the old shows from 2003. some of "today's" show topics: Speculation about whether Staples has been drinking again; Al Roker rats on his own kid for smoking pot; dodge ball stories; 2004 election talk.

odd to hear political talk from 5 years ago. Ron was talking about how the media seemed to love George Bush! they also talked about the economy improving from 9/11.
