i just want to point out how there is way better things that would be more important for these kids to have before a fuckin laptop. Like medicine, clothes, food, clean water. Shit like that. Oh well, maybe they can figure out how to get all that stuff with these new laptops they dont know how to use

they are for kids in communities that receive aid... they are meant for school
and educated child is a less helpless child and has greater chance for not being homeless and hungry and may grow up to help his or her own community

that's cheaper than most textbooks for school these days and will cover several years of a child's education.
