I'm heading up for Sunday's playoff game, but I have an extra ticket because my favorite person in the world has to work that day. Anybody want a free ticket?

Where are your seats?

My girlfriend is working and I may have some interest. How much?

I live 14 blocks away.

The only dials being touched are nipples in the joy of victory.

Better get on your horse for the rest of those tickets. As of tonight 3500 were still available at $36 each. If they arent sold by Sunday, Minnesota gets blacked out for the game.

Im sorry but thats fucking pathetic.

How is this even possible? Pathetic doesn't even come close. Sure, they both suck. But it's a fucking playoff game!

I guess everyone in the NFC East can agree on one thing, the glee of watching Dallas shit themselves.

They may not be happy, but now they can accept that they are no better than the Redskins. It will be good for therapy.

You have to understand the fear of playoff games in Minnesota. 1998 was more than most of us can take. Let alone the 2000 massacre in NJ. Or the other 4 super bowl losses.

If you listen to the post game call-in show on the local radio station, even after the Vikings clinched the playoffs, people were still calling in on how pathetically they played to end the season at 10-6.

Love has been lost for the Vikings.

The cliche is "A little piece of me died" but it is absolutely true. I was at that game in January of 1999, and it hurt more than a little bit.

From what I've been told, Minnesota is one of the few teams that doesn't include playoff tickets in their season ticket packages. If they appear to have a chance to make it about halfway through the season, then season ticket holders can opt to purchase them. At the time they went on sale, it didn't look like they'd make it.

So I am now in Minneapolis, and am staying at the same hotel as the Eagles. I've hung out with a few former players and current broadcasters/sportswriters in the hotel bar. Now I'm kinda drunk.

Thats really a poor excuse. I mean the losses you are talking about took place 8 and 10 years ago. Not to mention the Super Bowl losses go 30+ years back.

I mean as an Eagles fan I dont think there was a more painful loss then the 02 NFC Championship game to Tampa. And then to follow it up with another NFC championship game loss to Carolina. Both at home. But Im proud that we sold out every playoff game those years and the next year considering they were outside and colder with every year. That Atlanta game was the coldest game Ive ever been to and that place was packed to the gills.

Minnesotas an old school franchise. And its the playoffs. They deserve better.
