There's a minimum amount of time that must pass or a minimum amount of posts you must meet before you're allowed to start a new thread.

What those numbers are is anyone's guess. They haven't updated the FAQs around here since 2001.

Brad, go into your User CP to ad your sig. You will need to right clock on the sig and copy its properties, and then paste that web address into the area in the signature part of your profile in order for the sig to appear when you post. You might have to log out for it to take effect.

photobucket actually has tools now where you can crop, resize and add text. It's great for making simple sigs. You don't even have to install anything on your computer. I wish they had more fonts though.
