This being the last day of my vacation I was tooling about the `net with Lynx, and went here to check out the new posts.

AND IT WORKED!

One of the things I nitpick about privately, is accessibility for people who don't have fancy-schmancy browser--or who MUST use text-only browsers because they are blind, and have software that reads the screen to them.

Think about it: radio is TV for the blind. If that is so, then blind people must surely try to come to RonFez.net.

I was able to peruse the entire site, plus download pictures and sounds. I didn't try chat but I did try to post--it didn't send my message but I think that had to do with my personal settings in Lynx.

*snif* I'm so proud! You guys are GREAT!

For anyone who'd like to make sure their web page is handicap accessible, a couple of quick tips would be to make good use of ALT tags and give text alternatives to flash images.

Although I agree with you radio is a great medium for the deaf, the Internet is not.

hmm. Welp, Lynx is my browser of choice--I don't have to load any scripts, I get no java runtime errors,I NEVER see popup advertising--it's all good! Surfing text-only is *fast*. AND, if you're blind, the internet is a great equalizer--being partially blind in one eye, I learned a bit about the subject. I use IE 6 for when I wanna see all the purty pictures and test stuff on my home page. :)

Now....text only porn is easy to get a hold of...
