Smoking will stain your teeth as will coffe tea spicy foods etc. Regular cleaning will definately help Some of the whitening toothpastes help a little. Brush often is the best start.

Don't forget to floss too.

The stains I get are directly related to smoking.
I know this because when I quit for a while a couple years ago they went away.
The problem is, "they" were on one tooth and now I find that other teeth are starting to pick up the brown shit.

Also, next question, when repairing a broken tooth(front), is a cap better or should the whole thing come out and a fake one be put in? And no, it's not just a chip, it's really fucked up.

This is all speculation on my part, but I am looking forward to raping my dental insurance.
