Not only did they look awful for the tribute when the circumstances finally came out, they had to instantly bail on the Vince McMahon blew up in his limo gimmick to get Vince back for the tribute.

Watch the documentary "Wrestling with Shadows" and witness Brett Hart turned into a Canadian-flag waving, anti-American heel, complete with such smack talk as "You people don't have good health care."

It does lead to one of the greatest lines I've ever heard anywhere, as a group of fans are interviewed outside the arena about Hart, and one of them says "Canada sucks. We had to bail their ass out in WWII."

ugh, all to promote a movie. i know Vince won the world belt but it was part of an on going story line and he took some hard bumps and was opened up pretty good in his match.

The worst idea in wrestling was Stephanie McMahon, heiress to the largest wrestling company in the world, deciding to marry a f*cking wrestler for God's sake....

It's one thing to give an active wrestler the book, which I think most people regard as a dumb move, but you can always take it away or fire him. Not when they're married to the owner-to-be though...

I was genuinely surprised Vince allowed this to happen.

1. Doing a storyline where Vince has an illegitimate son.
2. It turning out to be Hornswaggle.
3. It was all a plot, Vince doesn't have an illegitimate son.

Tony Shavoni announcing that Mick Foley had won the WWE title on Raw. It led to everyone switching to Raw and ending the WCW ratings streak. Which startes WCW's down fall.

I would agree with you but in Ric Flairs book he said after he won Arquette asked him for advice as to what to do, because he wasnt comfortable winning the title. Flair told him to wear the belt to the bar and buy all the wrestlers drinks which he did.

Ric Flair went on to say as a WCW Champion David Arquette showed alot more character and class then alot of the other former champs. That means alot coming from Ric Flair.

To be fair no one knew exactly what happened until 11 or 11:30. At 8, people still thought it was poisoning (I forget the name, but they bought a new house and they thought the fumes in there killed them or sometihng).

I read that too. Flair's book was a fantastic read (waaaaaaaaay too short and edited).
