How Often Do You Search Your Name?

I do it everytime I go on the board. I always check to see who's saying what about me. 99% of the time its nothing but I always have to check. I'm watching all of you. Well not really but if you say something about me I wanna know. Is anyone else self absorbed and enjoys seeing themselves mentioned.

I dont even need to search my name. Tiger Woods just comes up where ever you go. That's what happens when you hit massive 350+ yard drives and win the Masters by 12 shots.

ill search it sometimes to see if anyone posted in any threads I was active in. The only thing that sucks is that some threads come up that I never posted in and then I have to read them to see why.


I just searched my actual name and got like 9 threads to come up. That was kinda weird

It is (assuming you search HTG). I hate the stupid 3 letter rule for searches. I tried to search for a thread the other day, and the only two words I knew were in the title were both 3 letters. It came back with nothing.

I don't search my name on the board, but I coincidentally used ctrl F to look for it in the "unappreciated posters" thread tonight. I'm not in there. I must be appreciated the right amount.

In the top of the board click search then type your name then click show posts. The only problem for you is noone writes happytypinggirl, they always just put HTG. You should just change your name to that to make it easier.

i have never even attempted to search my screenname, but don't the admins have a log on what are the "most searches" on this site? That could be fun to post. You get to see who obsessively checks their name. i saw something like that on FBA years ago

Search thing seemed like a lot of work for nothing when I just tried it. I don't think many people would #1) bother to quote my lame posts and #2) go to the trouble of spelling out my board name with the N2008 etc. I really need to have that changed.
