laptop hd mp3 player enclosure?

so i have an extra 128 mb laptop hd
and im wondering if there is a product out there that will let me plug this hd in and use it as a ipod device

i havent found anything so yea, it sounds like a sycotic thing to ask, but as i understand it most of the ipods use a standard laptop hd... so thinking that a company sells just the enclosure/battery isnt that strange

you get a usb hd caddy you can use it on any device that streams usb media.

ps3, xbox360, most new pioneer car decks.
