help with xm player for mac

so im trying to listen to the buddays online
and i was asked to dl a plug in so quick time could play a wmv format
dl flip for mac
now when i reopened the player
it doesnt do anything
the slot right above the quick tune and to the right of the channel listing is blank
i have quicktime set to open media in new player so a new tab should show up for quicktime, but thats not happening
any suggestions?
