What do (usually new) people mean by the "Insiders"? It seems they're always referring to people with large post counts when talking about insiders.

I've never met a single person on this board, never met Ron or Fez, and I've never had a problem with the "insiders".

Are you considered an insider when you call someone out for being a dick, if you have a large post count?

I consider "insiders" any one of these Paltalk or .net people who are mentioned on the show who may or may not contribute a goddamn thing. Fred from Brooklyn and Mafialife Chris I consider to be bad insiders because they're all about themselves and their relationship with the shwo, while people like Mikeyboy and, believe it or not, Franklyn are good insiders to me because they give to the fans through video, photos and information.

Post counts do not mean a damn thing. Me personally I'd rather see quality posts from people then posts just to make a post and up someone's count. Honestly I admit that I am somewhat skeptical of new folks with very low post counts but that is only until they establish themselves. By that I mean folks who post with an agenda like what happened when Dave first started out on the show and "new" people who came out of the woodwork to trash him for no reason, those kind of agenda folks I really have no time for.

I think you can figure out who has an agenda or not without a post count.
Conclusions are often jumped to when a new member makes a negitive post, and I don't think thats really fair. A persons first post is usually based on something that happens on the show that they want to express their feelings to.
Those people who always have hateful posts tend to standout.

See for me anyway I don't base my conclusions on a persons single post unless they demonstrate they are a complete tool right then and there. You're right, it's natural when people are new to posting on a board to post about something they have a strong emotional feeling about. If however I see someone in their first 10-20 posts has an agenda or wants to start trouble I usually just ignore other posts from them.

thats understandable, my point is that this can be determined whether there is a post count or not. Their are members here who have thousands of posts that have agendas, whether they had them from the time they joined or they developed over time doesn't matter.
most new members do a lot of post reading before making their first post, so in a way the content of their first post is a reflection of what they read here.
