It's been my favorite sight in the nighttime Winter sky since I was a small child.

Good night.

I showed my friend Orion one night, and she said, "Yeah right, that's his belt." See what I have to deal with?

agreed. However, it is cloudy and snowing. What shall I look at before calling it a good night?

Probably because you were hoping to catch a glimpse of Orion's cock right below it.

Creep.

I hate it when I get here too late for the only thing I had to say.

Mine too. Always fascinated that one of the 3 "stars" in the belt was a nebula. I mean it. No bullshit. I always look out for it.

if you dl google earth theres a sweet little tab at the top that will allow you to switch to an astronomy view so you can look at all the stars and their location

Me too... and for one reason. As mentioned - you can't miss it.

Sometimes if I wanted to look like I knew a lot about constellations I'd say "see that? ... Orion my friend. The hunter."

If we were away from city lights you'd be able to make out that nebula.
