I work in printing and there aren't many woman. The joke is, "There IS NO CRYING in printing."

And I've taken that to heart. When I need to, I go out and kick my tires and yell. Sometimes I insult my co-workers in a fun way to steam off. We kist do it to each other.

Today was the SECOND time in a week I was called into the VP of manufacturing's office. This time? I missed ONE FUCKING LETTER.

I got upset. I know MORE upset than I should have but I had a panic attack in the bathroom. I hyperventilated and I was no good.

There have been several times where I've kicked my tires or SCREAMED! I haven't had in in YEARS.

I have NEVER used it as an excuse and ALWAYS show up for work. And I do OT.

I just feel this is going to be held against me. Maybe I can get a letter from my shrink. I HATE to do that, but I want to keep my job.

I fucking hate panic attacks. I had them for awhile rather frequently without any real reason that I could see or figure out.

I don't know how your company is with absences but if you feel that letter will give you a "more legitimate" reason for leaving, then get it and give it to them.
