I saw this little article and part of the text peaked my interest.

The story is about elevators we can build out of a new carbon material that will extent out into space, but here is the paragraph I thought Ronnie would be interested in:
"The key thing is that the process essentially makes carbon into smoke, but because the smoke particles are long thin nanotubes, they entangle and hold hands," Windle said. "We are actually making elastic smoke, which we can then wind up into a fiber."
The future is NOW and the future is SMOKE PANTS!!!
