Has anyone seen this new Liam Neeson film? The commercials look good but the reviewers don't seem to like it because:
a) It's like an action revenge movie from the 80's.
b) It's not as "thoughtful" as a Bourne movie.
c) Liam Neeson is too fine an actor to lower himself to do something like this.
Honestly, these are all reasons that make me want to see it.

As far as a pure action flick goes, I thought it was great.
Really no thought to it at all, just a badass fucking up anyone who gets in his way.

I've seen the previews, and read a spoiler of what happens, and I think the fact this movie got a PG-13 when basically the last half hour or so is Liam Neeson murdering one person after another shows how truly fucked up the ratings system is.

I can see how jimmy would hate it but I agree that the action scenes were pretty good, the rest of the film was horribly acted though, but for some reason the audience clapped. I think I know why but still it doesnt make up for the rest of the film being poorly acted, I expected more from Liam Neeson.
Good premise, poorly executed.

My lord, I can't believe this movie is doing as well as it is.
I had to walk out after about 20 - 30 mins. EVERY SINGLE CLICHE and overused movie/plot device is used in this movie.
His character was carrying a bag of groceries with the bagets and green leafy veggies poking outta the top of the paper bag.
He wanted to surveil one of the bad guys, and he actually sat on a bench and pretended to read an oversized newspaper!!!
Foot race! Chasing the perp. The guy jumps off a bridge and lands on the back of a huuuge truck that's hauling a massive amount of soft/padded material! Really!!
Everything was so exaggerated and obvious.
The hits just kept on comin'.
Shit sandwich.
