Ron and Fez: Where are they now?
So I happened to be in Raleigh, North Carolina on Saturday night. Went to a comedy club to see Norm MacDonald, who was pretty hilarious btw, and who was workin' the door and Emceeing the night? Ray Wagner! Our very own Wonderboy!
I had forgotten that he lives down here and certainly wasn't expecting to see him on Saturday night. Said hi to him and sat down, then he jumps up onto the stage to open up everything. Very funny act and he was great with the crowd. Kudos to the former Ron and Fez intern and producer! Shook his hand at the end of the night and wished him good luck. If you guys are ever in Raleigh, NC at Goodnight's Comedy Club, stop by and see if Wonderboy is there!

Neat!
Emceeing for Norm McDonald? Awesome.
Wow! What a blast from the past. How crazy is it to bump into someone you know from years ago when you're 500 miles from home?
Glad to hear the kid's doing well. I always liked Ray, fuck ups and all.
Does he still have that funky mohawk?

Oh he has myspace (http://www.myspace.com/raywagner) too...
One of my favorite bits was when he played J-Dubs in Michigan trivia, and bet his girlfriend's hair, then threw her under the bus and some lunkhead-type who knew the girl called and raced down to the studio to get his head shaved in her place.
Ultimate cringe radio.
Wonderboy was underrated.
Oh, and I forgot. The Wonderboy farewell was still the greatest exit in radio history. Even Ronnie was caught off guard by it.

Wasn't more than just a lunkhead? I seem to remember him being her other boyfriend or fuck buddy.
Another great Wonderboy moment was when he went up against Perrynoid in a hot sauce spelling bee. His screams of agony were right up there with Dave's.
I just remembered a great Wonderboy moment! Back in the WNEW days he had mentioned that he was pee shy, and couldn't take a leak in front of other people.
Ron had a sure fire cure.
There were a ton of people in studio that night, although I can't remember why right now, and lots of chicks. Ron had them surround Wonderboy (there were 9 or 10 of them) and one of them held a bucket. Wonderboy had to stand there with his cock out until he could pee in the bucket in front of all the chicks.
He did.
It was a heartwarming moment for everyone involved.

I loved the brutal honest Wonderboy, where he spend two breaks playing word association about the regulars.
Fucking hysterical.

I'll never forget when they had him swallow a spoonful of cinnamon and he nearly choked to death. I have to see if it's in the file library...it was so fucking funny.

one of the more infuriating scream-at-my-radio segments was when Wonderboy was defending Native Americans, saying they were peaceful people who had no idea how to defend themselves against the european explorers.
he didn't have a single fact to back up his ideas, yet he was speaking like he knew everything about the spiritual, peaceful Indians who shed a single tear any time they see a bit of litter.
i'm angry just thinking about it! :wallbash:

I will forever love Wonderboy as one of the show's greatest foils. Please check out the night JDubbs tricked him into breaking his own car window. Fucking brilliant.

Funny - I remember wonderboy mentions but not any of the bits or wonderboy himself... was this on midnights? or when they moved to afternoons.?

Is that the guy who sniffed coke off the strippers ass? I forget his name.
I also remember when J-Dubs get WB to smash out this window on his own car, classic stuff.

MONSTER!!! thank you very much. I think the buddays should do an update show and bring everybody back or have them call in... just for a little while. Not so much the characters (i.e. Iris, Retard Martin) but Interns and other people who greatly impacted the show positively or negatively... thoughts?
