The problem is that it's not a good representation of what Jennifer Hudson's voice is like. Recorded in a studio, you can run her voice through so many processors and punch it up on AutoTune and make a shitty performance sound awesome.

Do we know she lip synched? Or is it just an accusation?
the producers asked Hudson and Faith Hill to pre-record their songs in advance. national anthems for large sporting events have been pre-recorded for years. even the Whitney Houston one that people were so crazy over was, indeed, a recording.
it's still them singing. i have no idea what the big deal is.
but most people don't understand this because they have never sang the anthem in a large arena. especially outdoors... i don't care HOW good the sound system is... there is always a reverb issue and it is a lot to adjust to.

The whole "sexual tension" angle is the death of pretty much every sitcom. You either have to extend it to the point it just seems stupid, or you let the couple get together and the show loses its momentum.

Massive reverb plus add that it is often so loud in the stadium that you can't hear yourself and maintaining pitch is incredibly tough.

I've heard some people say that some Bob Dylan concerts were just unlistenable. His vocals were unintelligible, and the songs were in bizarre new forms that made it impossible to tell what he was playing.
Still, though, I'd prefer that sort of sense of danger, that chance that something good will come out of it -- and it often does -- to Dylan performing to perfectly recorded vocal tracks.

If you have additional accounts at a discounted rate, that's going from $6.99/mo to $9.99/mo. And they also mention that online service will be an additional charge.

For that I agree with you. I put Jennifer Hudson in a different class than the traditional britney spears, j-lo, jessica simpson type. I understand that this specific situation demanded it. The NFL wanted perfection all around and that is what people had to do to fit in with that scheme.
However for other artists, this further diminished what amount of talent they may or may not already have.
I do not think that lip sync in front of 80k in a stadium and what, 100 million at home is a bad thing. I think that people will make a connection though and say that because she did that at the superbowl, whe will do it at all concerts. I disagree with that.

Hey Guys
I don't post much but my friend is having an emergency. His friend went missing yesterday morning and we are trying to get the word out through the NY area
Here are the details and the link to the Facebook note
http://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=49366503425
Ryan Cannata likely left his home yesterday, February 2nd at around 4:30 p.m., to buy his girlfriend a Wii for her birthday and to pick up food to make her dinner and never returned. He was last seen by his girlfriend that morning. If you have seen or heard from him, please call me (Bryan) immediately at 917-334-1197. He usually wears a black leather jacket.
Based on the timing of an email he sent me yesterday afternoon, we believe he may have gone to the GameStop on Steinway Street in Astoria and would have been in the Steinway Area at around 4:30-5. However, he also had Craigslist ads open on his computer for the Bronx and Brooklyn, so he may have been anywhere.
We are looking for any information whatsoever. The NYPD will not open a missing persons file until tomorrow so as of right now we're on our own.
Please pass along to any site you feel will help and if possible please let the show know maybe they can get the word out also
Thanks
Vin

I've heard some people say that some Bob Dylan concerts were just unlistenable. His vocals were unintelligible, and the songs were in bizarre new forms that made it impossible to tell what he was playing.
Still, though, I'd prefer that sort of sense of danger, that chance that something good will come out of it -- and it often does -- to Dylan performing to perfectly recorded vocal tracks.
All my experiences with live Dylan which totals 3 were a musical trainwreck even as a big fan he is very difficult to enjoy live.
