I agree on the American Dad thing. He sounds nothing like him. If anything it sounds like two completely different people trying to do the same impression.

I thought it was a funny enough bit. I can't see how he'd pop up on the show again unless he just comments whenever George Lucas makes the news, but maybe it's good he won't be run in to the ground.
