I ran across this...http://thisiswhyyourefat.com/...and was wondering, what your favorite local delicacy was?

Mine, I like the horseshoe...or ponyshoe. It was originated near my hometown and has since spawned a breakfast version. The horseshoe is two pieces of texas toast (open faced), with two burgers smothered in french fries and cheese sauce. The breakfast version, which I am not as big a fan of, replaces the beef with sausage, the french fries with hash-browns, and cheese sauce with gravy.

Scrapple is a local delicacy, and one that I do not partake in consuming enough. So good.

god damn do i miss living less than a five minute walk of that place. two dogs, texas style and and order of curly fries, doused in vinegar. mmmmm.


but my local favorite. the glorious beef on weck. i don't know what place has my favorite but i love 'em from gabriel's gate or the lafayette tap room.
