Full Moon Insomnia

Am I the only one or does anyone else have trouble sleeping when there's a full moon? I feel weird and restless once a month and used to think it was hormones or something but have tracked it and it's always when the moon is full. It's not the light from the moon because I have light-blocking curtains and shades. Why would this affect some people and not others?

(And, yes, I've had this experience and have wondered if it's full-moon related. Unfortunately, my cycle tends to coincide with the full moon, so I can't rule out hormones!)
