Paper, Foam, or Plastic?
I go with the rugged paper ones that are almost like cardboard. Foam sucks, can't cut on em, plastic is too slippery.

This is a pretty worthless poll, but I must say that Chinet is the best.

paper. Specially when camping. Free kindle.
Of course the trees will suffer. Every other option has a suffering part connected to it.

This could possibly be the worst thread I have ever seen on the internet.

paper, but chinette is the worst. it feels like gross cardboard and any liquid soaks into the plate. dixie ultra is a great, glossy paper plate.

once I get a dish washer, I am the dish washer, I needs me a break from time to time
we (more me) both judge the meal's quality and then suggest the plate, if she don't try, why use China

Paper definitely, nothing beats not having to clean up.

I use real plates for dinner but on a weekend night if I'm playing a game and want some French Bread Pizza I see no need to dirty another dish

I'm 25 and single.
If I need a plate, I'll rip the top off a pizza box or something.

I'm sometimes obsessed with turning paper plates inside out. Little ridges and all.

I like to take a regular ceramic plate then cover it with a paper plate. That way you can have the stiffness of an actual plate without the mess.

i just buy cardboard boxes and cut them up and use those. The only real problem is that stuff rolling off.

paper.
just bought some last week for the first time in a very long time.
these new fangled "green" environmental plates seem stronger than the regular paper plates mama used to buy.

i hate the dixie plates
they stick together when you want to remove
just one from the pile
sometimes you really have to pry them apart

STOP!
According to every single hack interview I've ever read in Rolling Stone, those pizza-box tops are for writing down brilliant & insightful lyrics at the "last minute before going into the booth."
