Aside from the Super Bowl, is there anything that we can't tear down and crap on?

It seems we live in an upside down world.
Crap is great. Genius is boring.

In other words, things that cater to our lowest common denominator, usually succeed and are rewarded.
Things that are intelligent and of high quality seem to be dismissed.

For what it's worth, we need things that celebrate quality.
I know the Oscars will probably disappear in the next few years, and I doubt something better will replace them.
We might get the Crap awards.
