The Al Dukes show, g'bye ratings 4 2002

Okay, 25 minutes into the show, and again, the Al Dukes/Joe Poo show. And then a blunt transition(?) to a football coach that's going to pro.... and then..... who the fuck cares. And then more Al Dukes calls & feedback. "Let's have Joe Poo vs Al Dukes" I am sad, but I give up on this junk. How boring can you get? B'bye "Ron & Fez Show" , I was hoping for a funny 2002. What else is on...... Damn, it's only 200 cable channels and 900 radio stations....

Of course, this doesn't mean that I'm not a fan, but I've been a radio junkie since I was a very tiny boy in the mid 70's and I can smell the death in the air.

45 minutes into the show... at least Billy Staples is ENTERTAINING. He actually speakes in more than one octave, unlike Dukes the Drone. Okay, I am officially not listening for the next 2 hours. When I come back, nothing will have changed, just like in soap operas when your mom goes on summer vacation with the pool-boy, comes back and complains about "Days of Our Lives". Billy will still be hungover with a bad hairday, and Al Dukes & Joe Poo will still be alive. This will be a disappointment, but something that I will prepare myself for. Then I will threaten to leave this message board in defense of no one important, and then I will pose in my overstretched, blasted-out pantaloons, and post my ass on my website. And then you can all beg me to stay because I am a hot piece of ass. And then, I will make Progresso Alphabet Soup and spell out "I gotta take a shit" on my spoon. WOW, at least they're keeping Sweet Melissa doing promos. Didn't they try this thing a few months ago, and the station fucked it up for them???? Wish Ron & Fez luck, since this is another project doomed to failure. Let's see if it works this time. Melissa, you are adorable. Start your own website already!!

Melissa, you sounded great last nite, but those jokes? Yeah they were funny the first time I heard them on last Wednesday's Opie and Anthony show!!! sad..people cant even make up their own material....OnA used half of them during the segment where they were trying out "new formats" Im suprised no one else caught on to this.

I caught on.. The winning joke (and many others) was either from Don & Mike or O&A.. I was going to call in with this joke but couldn't get through...

Joe Poo and Al Dukes were in the dark woods making love. Joe Poo says, "Boy I wish I had a flashlight". Al Dukes responds, "So do I, you are making a hole in the ground".

I wonder if I would have at least got a chuckle out of Sweet Melissa...

I really liked Friday's show. It reminded me of .com days. The Dukes stuff kinda gets old, but towards the end where they talked about video games and started torturing Joe Poo was good stuff.
