Um, generally you pick a song that connects the two people getting married. I am going to assume you haven't been with this new woman long enough to even sit down and listen to the radio together, never mind have an emotional connection to any song.

sorry... I should have formatted it in bold instead.

Just say that you are not seriously already looking to get married again.
Have you actually taken enough time to yourself to reflect? I know some people just desperately need to be in relationships and cannot be alone long... I am curious what marriage actually means to you and what you expect from it...

Don't want to say too much at this point.
I will say that my number one criteria at this point is purity of spirit and common decency.

well you are an adult and can make your choices... seeing that you went through hell twice I am sure it is easy to feel in heaven when feeling in love and being loved back.

I don't know... for me a rushed marriage is almost like a sign of low confidence in yourself and your relationship cause it seems to want to make it more official that this person is with you and you only...in an ideal relationship you should not have to worry about that and really be able to take time to truly get to know each other.

call me crazy, but in my opinion there is no way you had enough time to even heal from your past yet... the lovely feelings are only covering up what you have not really dealt with.

Tom Waits - San Diego Seranade, which I'm partial to because A) I love Waits and B) It tells most of the story of our relationship, especially the early portion.

no, you are being encouraged to think with your head instead of your heart and pants for once... take your time, dude!

I really appreciate those that are being nice....I really believe this is a one of a kind person and far far better than my past decisions....the problem is my life is so fucked up right now
that my biggest problem is I can't do anything stupid because it would hurt this person....I didn't think this way before.
now back to CMT TV.

There is no rush. I'm just talking about what she wants and we are in agreement....I already told her I have untangle the mess of my life and sell both my properties.

I think you must be eating your own words quite often, seeing that you are now engaged to this lovely lady.

All I have left to say is good luck and I hope you will be much happier this time.

Thank you. She is far too good for me but I'll take her.

I would not be making a mistake by marrying this woman. She would be making the mistake. I am struggling every day to be a better man. When I'm down and out I listen to Celine.

I figured it out
I was high and low and everything in between
I was wicked and wild, baby, you know what I mean
Till there was you, yeah, you

Something went wrong
I made a deal with the devil for an empty I.O.U.
Been to hell and back, but an angel was looking through
It was you, yeah, you
It's all because of you

You are the reason
You are the reason I wake up every day
And sleep through the night
You are the reason, the reason

In the middle of the night
I'm going down 'cause I adore you
I want to floor you

I'm giving it up
No more running around spinning my wheel
You came out of my dream and you made it real
I know what I feel
It's you
It's all because of you

You are the reason
You are the reason I wake up every day
And sleep through the night
You are the reason, the reason

In the middle of the night
I'm going down 'cause I want you
I want to touch you
I want to floor you
You are the reason, baby

You are the reason
You are the reason I wake up every day
And sleep through the night
You are the reason, the reason

I like Gigantic by The Pixies

Although the whole album Tallahassee by The Mountain Goats is pretty much about your life.

I have to start seriously working on this now. The date is April 30. The one good thing in my life now is this person. She is super normal and we are going with melodic unironic country songs. I know this will not sit well with most people.

I don't like country music either. We had a good friend who love singing "Crazy" by Patsy Cline to me and he mad me laugh. We decided to make that our wedding song. When the DJ mentioned our song at our reception, family and friends laughed. We still dance to it (and I still step on his toes) every Sept. 20th.
