since you're the neti pimp here's a question...one of the things that I HATED from my childhood experiences swimming (to this day I still don't like being underwater) is the feeling of getting water up my nose and as it seeps to the back of your throat....doesn't the neti pot give you the same effect?

I get bitchin' allergies in the spring because of the dust and mold so figure the neti pot would be a good way to douche my sinuses but don't want that funky feeling in my throat

A lot of people screw up the first time they try the neti pot and do indeed get water in their throat. Once you get used to completely breathing through your mouth when you use the neti, however, it won't happen and you don't get that awful feeling of drowning. The trick is to close off your nasal passages before you begin. The best way I can describe it is to talk like you're pretending you have a head cold and are calling in sick.

Once you master that, the neti experience is amazing. The warm water flushing out your sinuses is like an orgasm for the nasal passages.

The only reason I want to film the sacrificing of a netti pot is to make Gvac scream like a lil girl in terror.

Otherwise, in theory it does work. I do hope next time Gvac buys the lil saline packets that they are from China and tainted with lye.
