the problem with Rock Band is that it's encouraging kids to play fake instruments.
why would a kid pick up a six string and practice when he can press four buttons and hear the same thing...?

it makes me sad.

I disagree. A kid playing Rock Band or Guitar Hero may say to himself "hey this is cool, I want to try the real thing."

I have never heard so many wrong opinions about music in such a short span of time.

Animal Collective ripping off Flaming Lips?
Nirvana is a mix of Beatles and Heart?

just two examples. this discussion is too painful.

I disagree that it was the "Darkside of The Moon" for rap, though. I tried to call in, but got cut off. The real Dark Side of the Moon is "Fear of a Black Planet" by Public Enemy. The last truly great rap album was "Doggystyle" by Snoop.

Well, you can blame some awful choral teacher for Patty.
Her affectation (aka- british accent), which many part time singers put on, is simply annoying,
and I find comes from 1 year or less in a class with people who know you have no talent, but they tell you how to try and cover up your awfulness, by becoming british, or simply dropping every R you can find.
