When did J. Mascis become Tiny Tim?

Mascis has looked like a fat sloppy hippie pretty much, well, forever.

Oh I care very much, sir. Dinosaur Jr. has given me many years of pleasure. I shall procure this media as soon as possible.

I clearly need some sleep. I read this and immediately assumed you were talking about was (not was) the amazing one hit wonder of the 80's/90's with their hit "everybody walk the dinosaur".

Thank God that is not what you referring to. I'm not sure the world could handle a new tour from them.

A few years ago I went to go see Evan Dando at the Black Cat in DC. The opening act was Cobra Verde with an unbilled Mascis as the guitarist. My friends and I were trying to figure out why the fat, old roadie was playing for a few minutes until we figured out it was him. Then an unbilled Julianna Hatfield was playing bass with Dando in his show. Cool show for only $20.

That sounds like heaven. Honestly.

Did they play it's a shame about ray? I would have lost my fucking mind.

Yeah, they hit all the old Lemonheads highpoints. My personal favorite was that little bit during "Drug Buddy" when they sing together.
