So my chicks mom gave us a new deep dish pizza pan the other day and want to make a pizza tonight. But I'm not in the mood for a traditional pepperoni and onion pizza. Can you help me out with any creative ideas?

I would go with a nice peanut butter sauce and some fried eggs for the topping.

I've also been known to make a fried bologna, onions and swiss cheese pizza from time to time.

A box of Jiffy cornbread mix.

Make it into a dough and use some olive oil in place of some of the water.

Add fresh chopped basil, garlic, and grated parmasian to the dough mixture, roll out and kneed. Form it into the shape you want, fold the sides up just a bit to form a thicker edge.

I make a nice oregano, garlic, cilantro sauce for my base.

Then I add a layer of mozzarella, add toppings of choice. Start to bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes on a pizza pan, move to just on the oven rack for extra crispness for 3-5 minutes. Let cool and enjoy.

Go Aussie: Shrimp toppings. Also, try throwing a little curry in the sauce

You just upset me with this post. This is what I now want but my chick hates shrimp and curry. I will make one like this when she is not here.

Ham and green olives. That's how the fancy people in Buenos Aires prefer it.

I'm gonna have to go with fried chicken, vodka sauce and mozzarella cheese (or any cheese of your choice.) Can also throw penne on it or whatever else that'll make you feel like the fattest, happiest person in the world.

I went with this. But I added a few banana peppers as well. Its in the oven now.

I also made some garlic knots from katpw's recipe for an app. They were delicious.

And thanks for all the other ideas. I'll definitely make some of them in the future. Keep the ideas coming!

Cheeseburger Pizza:
Use yellow mustard instead of tomato sauce
browned ground beef
onion cubes
dill pickle slices - YES I said pickles.
It is surprisingly good. Try it.

I used to get a chicken marsala pizza when I live in Connecticut. Magically delicious.
