this will make gag money, most tourists will find it amusing
I cant see this catching on in major cities, maybe small fat and poor towns where a night at Burger King is the meal of the week
I would like the Burger Bar "Chef" to dress up like the King

Who says this is a new great depression, I don't think they had steak sauce and guacamole on their whoppers back then. These truly are prosperous times.

Well, it opened yesterday and I don't see what the big deal is. It just looks like a Burger King to me. What exactly is "bar"-like in these pictures?

how's the toof?
From the article it looked like it was going to follow a Chipotle model and not a "Fixins bar" type burger place. I couldn't possibly picture having a Whopper with Guacamole and bacon with a side of onion rings and then riding The Incredible Hulk roller coaster. And there is a 5 guys 10 minutes from Universal, you're better off taking the drive.

anyone remember when Wendy's had the Super Bar, it had Tacos, Salads, and Pastas
for $5 , you could gorge on non healthy food ( preferably stoned)
this is before Wendy's smartened up and got more Health Conscious

Hold the pickle, hold the lettuce, special orders don't upset us, all we ask is that you let us serve it your way

I never understood this concept. Fez brings it up on the show alot too that the wendy's single is the best burger cause you can have it how you want it. Anytime I go to a McDonalds or BK I'm constantly changing things adding bacon or eliminating pickles and onions.

Ladies and gentlemen...I give you...THE WHOPPER BAR.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/08/18/new-burger-king-whopper-b_n_685676.html
BK opened a "whopper bar" in Times Square and invited the press to try some of the stuff that will soon be on the menu:
The New York Pizza Burger:
Four quarter-pound Whopper patties lay on top of a nine-and-a-half inch sesame seed bun. The burgers are then covered in pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, marinara and Tuscan pesto sauce.
The BK Black and Bleu Steakhouse XT:
...the Black and Bleu will reward you with tangy bleu cheese crumbles, crispy bacon and a blackened Cajun sauce.
The Meat Beast Whopper:
Coming in at around 1,250 calories, the Beast piles pepperoni and bacon on top of a quarter-pound beef patty. It's probably too much meat, even for an animal flesh fanatic.
And the California Whopper:
swaps ketchup for guacamole. It is reportedly the most popular of the new Whopper clan.
Also they're waiting on their liquor license to begin serving beer.
Holy floppy man-tits, Batman!

Pen Gilette pointed out how everyone rags on fast food places for their nutritional content, but do you have any idea how people cook in most fancy restaurants?
Sounds so gross, and I love guacamole but I cant imagine how greasy guac on a whopper would be.

It was more of a rhetorical question. You would never see the headline Le Bernadan, more like Le Giveuponpants
I also dont cotton to bleu cheese on a burger, you need something to cut that funk like vegetables or vinegar in wing sauce.
