What's the happiest song of all time? [Archive]

I'm looking for the one song that if you hear, no matter how shitty your life is at the moment puts a smile on your face.

There is some criteria:

-the song has to be at least a good song on its own. So songs from a cartoon or overly trying to be happy (Katrina and the Waves) are out.
-the song can't be too recent. I think part of the making you happy is the nostalgia factor.
-Universal appeal. Cross races and religions people.

My vote goes to a little song goes by the name of Borderline:

Borderline feels like Im going to lose my mind

My choosing of that song isn't even in the top 5 things I posted today. What a day!

That reminds me. I was watching a show about Krakatoa today, and started thinking of the song Lava. In it, they sing "Krakatoa east of Java". Krakatoa was WEST of Java. Gay men aren't good with maps.

This song always puts a smile on my face because it makes me think of my wife. I was introduced to it through my mother who was a huge soul fan. So even though it was turned into a goofy hip hop anthem by the Biz I still associate it with Freddie Scott and when I was a kid.
